Title: POJAM I PRAKTIČNE IMPLIKACIJE VEŠTAČKE INTELIGENCIJE
Authors: Munjić, Janko
Issue Date: 2023
Abstract: The penetration of modern information and communication technologies into almost all spheres of human life has made radical changes in the world as we know it today, to which the emergence of artificial intelligence, as a field of technology that is intensively developing and becoming part of our daily lives, has made a significant contribution. Consequently, jurisprudence is tasked with finding solutions for emerging problems and meeting modern society's ever-increasing needs. However, while it is obvious that the hallmarks of the issues that arise in this sense are mass and complexity, the way to their resolution must begin with the fundamental notions inherent in the subject of observation. Only after a fundamental understanding of the essence of artificial intelligence is it possible to conduct an extensive and high-quality theoretical analysis of all the details related to it, while keeping in mind that practice always brings new, unexpected challenges. Therefore, the author began with a conceptual definition of artificial intelligence. The second part of the paper focuses on the mechanisms that enable artificial intelligence to evolve and operate more or less autonomously in relation to the human factor. The work's final section is devoted to the practical implications of artificial intelligence, viewed through the prism of certain general social benefits from the use of these modern technologies, as well as potential risks that may arise, with the author's personal review of the aforementioned issues.
