Title: LjUDSKA PRAVA – NASTANAK I EVOLUCIJA
Authors: Kijevčanin, Ružica
Journal: XXI vek – vek usluga i uslužnog prava, knjiga XIV
Issue Date: 2023
Abstract: In the paper, the author analyzes the questions of when human rights were created and how their development proceeded. On this path, he steps deep into the past, to the beginning of civilization, and bravely returns to the present, stopping at all the places and time periods that left a mark on the evolution of human rights and freedoms. The seals that the author collects are of legal, but also philosophical character, and are in the form of normative acts, first international, and then national, that is, ideas. The author decided to cover the mentioned topic, because of the importance it has and which never diminishes. The topicality of the topic is a logical sequence, given the fact that human rights and freedoms are the foundation of human civilization, but also of state and world order, because they are the reason for starting any process and creating news. Human rights and freedoms are implemented in all spheres of life, directly or indirectly. Reviewing the genesis of human rights is the only relevant way to approach such a complex and multidisciplinary topic, with the aim of reaching a unique definition and understanding of human rights and their role in legal science, but also in life in general.
