dc.description.abstractIn the paper are considered different approaches to studying the deformability of thin sheets in deep drawing. Also, this paper gives survey of light materials characteristics for manufacture of light carbody made of such materials: high strength steel sheet metals, Al-sheet metals, titan and its alloys, sandwich and composite materials, were used more and more. The paper gives survey of these materials, the application area, main advantages and disadvantages, description of formability parameters and results of researches, primarily in the area of limits formability of high strength steel sheet metals, Al-alloys sheet metals and steel-plastic laminate sheets. Also, some directions of the development in the area of deep drawing process control are given, first of all control of blank holding force in forming process.en_US
