Contact pressure on blank holder, that is blank holding force in deep drawing in tribological sense significantly influences the process results. The paper gives experimental research of variable pressure on blank holder influence in regime of increasing holding force on deep drawing of a cylindrical piece out of one−side zinc galvanized carbody sheet metal. The effects are observed through drawing forces diagrams, main strain distributions, influence on limit formability, qualitative indicators etc. Variable holder pressure is defined by previously determined dependence of variable blank−holding force, which is then given during the process on special measure−control device.en_US
