In order to solve social demands to automobile such as weight reduction for energy saving and environmental preservation, newly developed sheet metals have been applied toautobody parts. Aluminium is one of the promising materials for its light weight and easiness in recycling. However, compared with steel, the most common material for automotive panels, aluminium lacks in fracture resistance, wrinkling resistance and shape fixability. In this report are given the compared results of formability in deep drawing for steel sheets and aluminium alloy AlMg3.5 sheets.en_US
