Abstract: The main goal of this paper is design and testing a small pellet machine for the production of livestock feeds in households. The first step is sketching and dividing the pellet machine into subassemblies according to its function. The second step is to create a 3D model of the small pellet machine in the Autodesk Inventor software package and the production documentation was created. The third step is procurement of parts, procurement of mechanical and thermal processing services, assembly of parts, i.e. a small pellet machine was made. Experimental research was focused on finding the most efective feed composition that will increase feed intake and digestibility, and increase pelletizing efficiency. In addition, experimental researches were also carried out for trial performance of a machine (A trial performance test of a small pellet machine was conducted in order to determine the capacity of the machine, efficiency in the production of different mixtures of livestock feed, moisture content and speed of the die plate). Small pellet machine for production livestock feeds containing from several parts, such as: hopper, barrel, frame, rollers, cutting knife, electric motor, gearbox and rotating die. Machine was powered using a 3 kW electric motor with 900 rpm.
