Abstract: The increment of the people mobility makes vehicles an unavoidable part of everyday life. Due to the vehicle drive, vehicle speed adjustment to the road conditions, comes to the formation of the non-exhaust particles. Particles which form due to the wear of tires and wear of brakes are very harmful for the people health, as well as for the environment. The size of particles can go from 0.1 µm to 10 µm, and as smaller is the aerodynamic diameter of particle, the more dangerous is for the people health, and for a longer time will stay in the human organism. In this paper are shown statistic data of the road transport share in the emission of non-exhaust particles, compare to all considered sectors, for year 2019. Besides that, it was observed only the road transport, and it was shown that the greatest share in the entire emission of PM, have the wear of tires and wear of brakes. Further, were shown the measures for the reduction of the wear of tires and wear of brakes, which came out on the basis of previous researches.
