Everyday tightening of law regulations about exhaust emissions, it demands from car manufactures, constant improvement of the engine equipment, which directly influence on exhaust emission. Generally, the technology used at today engines, already achieved her maximum, and there not exist many space for improvements. However, by specs, IC engines are much better than eclectic drive train, and as such they need to maintain their existence. Direct influence on exhaust emission have the fuel consumption. This means that one of the way for emission reducing, is the reducing of fuel consumption. But in this way, the desired performances cannot be achieved, so it is necessary to find more reasonable solution. One of the possibilities is usage of alternative fuels, which because their chemical composition will directly influence on emission reducing. Such fuel can be hydrogen. However because his characteristics, he can be very inconvenient as a fuel. In this paper, the numerical analysis of engine work with hydrogen is performed, by injecting during the compression stroke. The injection as well as the ignition were defined in added pre chamber. It is concluded that, on this way, the stable engine work can be achieved, without high pressure increase ratios that are typical for hydrogen, because of the high combustion speed.en_US
