No mathematical model can replace the experiment. However, because it saves time and money are often approached mathematical models that sufficiently describe a process. Double Vibe function is used to describe the combustion process in diesel engines with direct injection. Double Vibe function parameters are determined on the basis of measured data of 13 working regimes on a mono-cylindrical engine in the Laboratory for IC engines at the Faculty of engineering in Kragujevac. With this method is not possible to define all parameters, because small number of working regimes.en_US
