USTAVNA ZAŠTITA SLOBODA I PRAVA ČOVEKA I GRAĐANINA PREMA USTAVU SFRJ IZ 1974. GODINE

Abstract

In this paper, the author will analyze the basic principles of protection of freedoms and rights prescribed by the 1974 Constitution of the SFRY, as well as the legal means provided for in the state system. The research path will include the judicial system, whose organization, functioning and efficiency will be examined. The author will pay the most attention to the organization of the judicial power and its position. The organization of the public prosecutor's office and the social ombudsman of self-government, which, along with the judicial power, make up the judicial system, that is, the institutional system of protection of human freedoms and rights, as the highest and timeless values, but also the essence of the existence of the state itself, will also be reviewed.
