Abstract

Artificial intelligence is considered one of the most significant technological phenomena of the 21st century. Observing its development, we are witnessing major transformations affecting the social, cultural, educational, scientific, and professional spheres of the individual. As such, it can represent either a stimulus or a threat, depending on how new technologies and the challenges they bring are perceived and accepted. At first glance, the mention of artificial intelligence and its knowledge base may make people feel threatened, but our position is that it can actually serve to support rather than hinder individual progress. This paper was written with that position in mind, as a contribution to the understanding of modern tools, showing that through timely adaptation and legal education, artificial intelligence can become a support system rather than a replacement for the legal profession. In this context, the legal profession is given a chance not only to survive but to grow stronger in a new environment through the application, shaping, and monitoring of the principles of the digital age.
