Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the automotive industry by enhancing autonomous vehicles, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), predictive maintenance, manufacturing, and urban mobility. Leveraging deep learning, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, and Agentic AI, these technologies improve vehicle safety, efficiency, and sustainability while fostering innovations like optimized battery management for electric vehicles and intelligent traffic systems for smart cities [1-3]. This paper explores AI’s transformative applications, addressing challenges such as algorithm generalizability, inadequate 5G infrastructure, and cybersecurity risks [4-5]. It also examines ethical and regulatory issues, including liability, algorithmic bias, and transparency, which are critical for responsible AI deployment [6-7]. Critical analysis reveals that while the literature highlights AI’s potential, it often overlooks practical constraints like high costs and regional infrastructure disparities [8]. Future research must prioritize diverse datasets, standardized validation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure AI’s safe and equitable integration, paving the way for a sustainable automotive future [9-10].en_US
