| dc.description.abstract | The paper examines the relationship between digitalization, corporate environmental responsibility, and the rule of law. It emphasizes that corporate environmental responsibility represents a legal instrument for preventing the harmful impacts of business activities on the environment, and that its effective implementation depends on institutional mechanisms and consistent enforcement of regulations. Digitalization is presented as a key tool for enhancing institutional oversight, transparency, and coordination, but also as a potential source of greenwashing when used to create the appearance of compliance with environmental standards. The study explores how digital tools can strengthen or undermine corporate environmental responsibility and the rule of law, highlighting that the proper application of digitalization, together with appropriate institutional reforms, contributes to more effective enforcement of environmental regulations and the strengthening of the rule of law. | en_US |
