Electric vehicles (EVs) play an important role in sustainable development. Nowadays, many automotive companies manufacture different types of EVs. The selection of the most suitable EV depends on the number and type of criteria used for evaluation, as well as on the weights assigned to these criteria. Determining criteria weights is often based on the subjective judgments of decision-makers, which may affect the accuracy of the final selection. Therefore, this paper presents several objective multi- criteria decision-making methods for determining criteria weights. This constitutes the main contribution of the study. The proposed methods are applied to determine the weights of six criteria for EV evaluation identified from the relevant literature.en_US
