Title: A phenomenological model of two-phase (Air/Fuel) droplet developing and breakup
Authors: Pavlovic, Radomir
Issue Date: 2013
Abstract: Effervescent atomization namely the air-filled liquid atomization comprehends certain complex two-phase phenomenon that are difficult to be modeled. Just a few researchers have found the mathematical expressions fo r description o f the complex atomization model o f the two-phase mixture air/dieselfuel. In the following review, developing model o f two-phase (air/fuel) droplet o f Cummins spray pump-injector is shown. The assumption o f the same diameters o f the droplet and the opening o f the atomizer is made, while the air/fuel mass ratio inside the droplet varies.
