Abstract: The automotive fuels are dangerous, when handled improperly with them. Liquefied petroleum gas as well as gasoline and diesel are potentially dangerous fuels, but over time, we are learned to use them safely. The same is true with natural gas. Natural gas can be safely used to produce electricity and for heating and cooking in households. According to our experiences, during combustion of natural gas in the engine, lower is the exhaust emission, specifically the emission of particles and nitrogen oxides. Vehicles equipped with the gas engines meet stringent environmental regulations, without the use of additional particulate filters and fuel additives. The above reasons have contributed to growth in the number of vehicles powered by natural gas, which is followed by parallel introduction of appropriate regulations and rulebooks. In the paper are systemized regulations and technical requirements relating to the installation of devices and equipment on vehicles powered by compressed natural gas. It was also shown the several options for the reconstruction of vehicles to drive on gas fuel, as well as logistics, which follows the introduction, equipment and vehicle maintenance, specialized services and garages.
