Abstract: Today, many explorers take for gaseous fuels, specifically natural gas, like on fuels for future. The basic reason for that, they are finding in the natural gas notable reserves and his ecological characteristics in motor vehicles (in the city bus powered with natural gas, the raw emission of (NOx) is lower around 85% while the emission of (SOx) and particulate matter as well as the smoke are nearly eliminated. In this paper are presented experience of the design engineers in Vulović transport d.o.o. Kragujevac in production of the first Serbian Low-Floor City Bus powered with compressed natural gas MAZ-BIK203CNG-S. Also, there are presented the first research and main characteristics of the new bus. There are also presented the experimental results and research of natural gas combustion process in mixture with diesel fuel.
