| Abstract: | Most common planetary gear sets which are implemented in numerous automatic transmission systems are presented in this paper. Automatic transmissions in which these gear sets are implemented were also briefly mentioned. Alongside these topics, cutting edge automatic transmission systems alongside their schematics were also presented. Current industry developments and future of automatic transmission systems were also briefly analyzed. |
