Predlog rešenja automatske transmisije za gradske i prigradske autobuse

Abstract

Nowadays, with the increase of traffic in our cities, a question of more flexible and comfortable public transportation is raised. In addition, considering that contemporary development of motor vehicles is characterized with increased economy in both production and exploitation, the objective is to design motor vehicles having automated transmission. Automatic transmission is one of the most complex motor vehicle's subsystems. It consists of a hydrodynamic torque converter and a planetary gear set. Today, it is increasingly applied both in passenger and in commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. A proposal of solution for automatic transmission of city and suburban buses having four main gears and one reverse gear is given in this paper
