Production of small-dimension pieces by plastic forming implies a specific development of this production technology area. The paper specifies the basic demands related to designing of such technologies, which imply recognition of dimensions diminution influence. Those are so called first rank influences, which appear as the consequence of unchangeable microstructure and surface topography in conditions of dimensions diminution, i.e. second rank influences (alteration of mechanical properties and formability parameters). The paper presents and analyses the results achieved in this area, and gives the directions of the further development of metal parts micro-forming.en_US
