Abstract: The paper includes the topic of deflexion appearances at thin sheet metals and sheet metals of increased hardnes. The tendency of sheet metals towards deflexion has been investigated in laboratory conditions by one-axis straining of square test-tube - so called Yoshida test. In parallel with physical modeling, the numerical simulation of the test was performed by use of program package PAK, developed on the basis of finite elements method. At physical-numerical modeling, the material brends (C0148P5 and PHZ260) and sheet metal thickness (0.7 and 0.8 mm) were varied, and the output modeling information, i.e. their influence onto the deflexion appearances at sheet metals, were folowed.
