| Abstract: | This paper compares thin sheet metals forming limit curves obtained by two theoretical methods with the results obtained experimentally. On the basis of micro-structure decohesion theory and "combined quasi-theoretical" approach both we created computer programs which enable a relatively simple generation of forming limit curves by using just a few basic characteristics of the material and the forming process. The experiment for obtaining the limit forming curves was set up in a similar way. A comparative analysis of theoretical and experimental results is given in the paper. |
