Abstract: Vehicles are considered one of the largest pollutants on the planet. As a proof of this, there is a constant tightening of the legislation legal norms for exhaust emissions. The primary source of pollution in motor vehicles is the IC engine. A good part of the engines used in motor vehicles are diesel engines. The main problem of exhaust emissions of diesel engines is NOx and PM. The most appropriate is experiment to determine the concentration of these harmful substances. However, in the development of new engines, the preferred variant would be to know in advance what the emission would be. The aim of this paper is to develop a model of a neural network based on experimental data that will be able to predict the concentration of these harmful components. Also, during the development of the model, different inputs will be tested in ANN to determine which results are best.
