The paper presents the application of laminated composites in the automotive, aerospace and marine industries. Laminated composites are characterised by a high strength–to–weight ratio, durability, corrosion resistance and the ability to tailor properties by designing the laminate structure. In the automotive industry, they are used to produce body elements, chassis structures and suspension components, contributing to weight reduction while maintaining the required mechanical properties and safety. In the aerospace industry, they are used in wings, fuselage structures, unmanned aerial vehicles, hybrid laminated composites and multifunctional composite systems. In the marine industry, laminated composites are used in hull and sandwich structures due to their low weight, corrosion resistance and favourable behaviour under fatigue loading. Despite these advantages, wider application remains limited by high production costs, repair complexity, degradation during long–term operation and recycling challenges. Future development will be directed towards optimising the laminate structure, improving production technologies, developing hybrid and multifunctional structures, and increasing recycling capabilities.en_US
