Abstract: © 2019 IEEE. In this report we implement our smeared model for electrical and calcium concentration field within a heart tissue and couple it to muscle mechanics. The basic equations are summarized and applicability of this model, coupling neural excitation and mechanics, is illustrated on one numerical example.
