The contact between two deformable bodies in general case is presented in this paper. Even when the bodies are elastic the contact represents a non-linear problem as the configuration of two bodies coming into the contact is not known beforehand. An analogy between friction and classical elasto-plasticity was used in the numerical implementation of the contact and it is presented in this paper. Developed numerical model is implemented in the inhouse software package PAK.en_US
