Internal ballistics-based design and structural analysis of a 30×165 mm cannon barrel
This paper deals with the analysis and optimization of parameters influencing the internal ballistics and barrel design of the 30×165 mm automatic cannon. Internal ballistic calculations were performed using a mathematical model based on the Drozdov method, with the aim of determining the influence of various parameters on projectile muzzle velocity and maximum powder gas pressure inside the barrel. The analysis was first carried out using reference internal ballistic parameters, after which ...

OPTIMIZATION OF CHASSIS GEOMETRY FOR INCREASING THE PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF 4X4 VEHICLE PLATFORM
The optimization of chassis geometry represents a key step in the development of modern modular 4×4 vehicle platforms. The manufacturing of chassis with complex geometries requires the use of specialized tooling, involves potential deformations due to welding, and demands a complex logistical framework, all of which significantly increase production time and costs. These requirements further limit production flexibility and may slow down adaptation to diverse operational demands. In the ...

Hitting-Time Index of Trees: Bounds, Relationships, and Exact Formulas
The hitting-time index is a recently introduced topological molecular descriptor based on graph distance. Its lower and upper bounds for trees, in terms of other graph invariants, are derived. In particular, the hitting-time index is related to the eccentric connectivity index, total eccentricity, eccentric distance sum, and degree distance index. Additionally, a closed formula for the hitting-time index of double brooms is obtained.

BIOSTIMULANTS AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Modern agriculture faces the challenge of increasing productivity while preserving natural resources and reducing environmental impacts. Biostimulants have attracted increasing attention as environmentally friendly tools for improving crop productivity, nutrient use efficiency, stress tolerance, and the sustainability of agricultural systems. The aim of this paper is to review the potential applications of biostimulants in modern agriculture, with particular emphasis on beneficial microor...

Comparative analysis of methods for the investigation of brake wear particles emission of railway vehicles
The braking systems of railway vehicles are a key element for the safe and efficient operation of trains. Although according to official reports, the railway sector contributes less than 1% to total PM emissions in Europe, PM concentrations in enclosed spaces of underground railways are of great concern due to the confined nature of these spaces. Numerous studies have identified brake wear as the primary source of these emissions, as particles are generated during the braking process, under c...

Variation in susceptibility of selelected wheat genotypes to Rhisopertha dominica
Lesser grain borer, Rhyzopertha dominica (Coleoptera: Bostrichidae) represents one of economically most important primary pests of durable commodities in storages. It primarily feeds and develops on products with high level of starch, such as wheat. Recently, it has become a pest of growing importance for wheat because losses often exceed economic thresholds. The aim of this study was to investigate susceptibility of 30 Serbian wheat genotypes to R. dominica. The collected genotypes include d...
